Muji
Scandinavian
The owner's vision was brought to life through a harmonious blend of Muji-inspired aesthetics and bespoke elements, creating a sanctuary of tranquility. The living room, notable for its matt-finish tiles, introduces a unique texture and depth, enhancing the clean, spacious, and clutter-free ethos. Complemented by light wood accents, the space radiates warmth and invitation, with minimal furnishings—a sleek console and a simple dining area—upholding the principle of simplicity and openness.
To transform the formerly dark kitchen into a bright and inviting space, our design introduced a strategic glass feature in the kitchen wall's midsection, allowing natural light to flood in. Complementing this, we selected white cabinetry paired with a wood-look-alike countertop, and white subway tiles for the backsplash, contributing to the room's airy feel. These elements work together to create a seamless blend of brightness and warmth, making the kitchen not just a place for cooking, but a central, vibrant hub of the home.
The bathroom design draws inspiration from the serene and minimalist essence of a Japanese onsen. Central to achieving this aesthetic is the inclusion of a sleek bathtub, around which wood-look-alike tiles are meticulously laid, mirroring the natural, warm tones and textures found in traditional Japanese bathhouses.
Our design solution marries functionality with style - transforming limited space into a luxurious, walk-in wardrobe ambiance. A customized raised platform replaces the traditional bed frame, ingeniously creating additional storage while maintaining a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. This feature not only maximizes the available space but also enhances the room's modern appeal, providing a smart, space-saving solution that caters to both storage needs and the desire for a stylish, uncluttered bedroom environment.
